Humane Society of Independence County

The Humane Society of Independence County is a no-kill nonprofit animal shelter located in Batesville, Arkansas. We are committed to helping you find your next furry family member.

We offer adoption services for both dogs and cats, with fees of $100 for dogs and $50 for cats. All animals are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

We rely entirely on generous donations to operate! Whether it's money, food (Pedigree for dogs & Purina for cats), products or time, your support makes a difference.
