We recommend all adult pets receive annual examinations and that senior pets receive a thorough physical examination every 6-12 months. During these examinations we will carefully assess all aspects of your pet’s health including your pet’s body condition dental health and prevention of heartworms and intestinal parasites.

After being weaned from their mother their protection from infectious diseases begins to decline. At this time it is important that we begin to vaccinate. After a thorough physical examination is performed to ensure that your puppy or kitten is healthy we will administer vaccines usually at eight twelve and sixteen weeks of age.

During your examination we will also update your pet on any vaccinations he may require. After a thorough medical history is obtained and a physical examination is performed your pet’s recommended vaccines will be determined based on his or her lifestyle and potential exposure to preventable infections.

We also provide testing for healthy pets including preanesthetic bloodwork heartworm testing and wellness panels to detect any issues early.

We can microchip your dog or cat at any age though we do recommend it as puppies and kittens. Microchipping your dog or cat ensures you’re linked to them for their lifetime.

Nutrition is a vital component to providing optimal care for your pet. Besides offering proper nutritional balance your pet’s diet can play a role in preventing or managing medical problems such as oral hygiene obesity heart disease or diabetes.

We also routinely deworm our puppies and kittens as worms and parasites are common and can be a health risk to both you and your pets.

At our clinic we offer in house lab testing so you’ll receive results on your pet’s bloodwork while you wait and can discuss your pet’s results with your veterinarian during your appointment. Our in house lab allows us to provide prompt accurate diagnosis for your sick pet.

We also provide testing for healthy pets including preanesthetic bloodwork heartworm testing and wellness panels to detect any issues early. We utilize a reference lab for specialty testing such as biopsies cytologies fluid analysis etc.

We offer dental health exams routine dental cleaning and more complex tooth extractions to keep your pet’s mouth healthy.

These services range from routine surgical procedures such as spaying neutering soft tissue surgeries and biopsies to more complex surgeries such as orthopedic procedures.

In our surgical suite we focus on patient safety patient monitoring and pain management.
