Second Chance Humane Society is dedicated to improving the lives of animals by fostering the human-animal bond, serving Western Colorado. We are located in Ridgway, CO.

We address the needs of homeless pets through our shelter programs and services. Key offerings include adoption, veterinary care, and a variety of community outreach initiatives.

At Second Chance Humane Society, we operate on core values of Compassion, Action, Resourcefulness, and Integrity – what we call CARIing. We are also proud to be a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
