Boyd County Animal Control & Shelter is dedicated to providing services which safeguard public health and safety in Ashland, KY. We humanely house and care for animals while promoting responsible ownership.

We offer adoption services for dogs, allowing you to find a new companion. Online applications are available for your convenience.

The shelter is proud to partner with Adopt a Pet! Donations of pet supplies and monetary contributions directly support our animal health and spay/neuter program.

All monetary donations are welcome. You may mail them directly to the shelter. We strive to protect animals from abuse and provide information on responsible pet care.
