One Step Closer Animal Rescue (O.S.C.A.R.) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by dedicated volunteers in Sparta, NJ.

Our mission is to save the lives of innocent animals and ensure great futures for all pets we rescue. We focus on providing health and well-being for our animals.

We are now operating a shelter (by appointment only) with approved applications. We prioritize creating a stress-free environment for our animals, making appointments for potential adopters to meet dogs in a comfortable setting.
