German Flatts Veterinary Clinic, Clinic

We provide thorough Comprehensive Physical Exams for all pets to detect early signs of illness and ensure long-term health. Our exams include evaluations of weight, dental condition, organ function, and overall well-being, with recommendations tailored to your pet’s age and lifestyle.

We offer Heartworm Testing & Prevention as part of our preventive care services. Regular testing and proactive treatment help protect your pet from this serious and potentially fatal disease, ensuring their heart and lungs remain healthy.

We conduct In-House Bloodwork, including CBC and chemistry panels, as part of routine wellness exams or pre-surgical evaluations. These tests help us monitor organ function, detect early diseases, and tailor treatment plans for your pet.

Our clinic performs Digital X-Rays (Radiography) in-house to diagnose issues like broken bones, tumors, bladder stones, hip dysplasia, and other internal conditions. We also provide OFA x-rays for evaluating hip dysplasia and contributing to national breeding databases.

We monitor Blood Pressure during surgical procedures and for pets with conditions like heart disease or kidney failure. This helps us assess cardiovascular health and adjust treatment plans as needed.

We conduct EKG / ECG (Heart Monitoring) to assess your pet’s heart health by recording electrical activity. This non-invasive test helps diagnose abnormal rhythms, heart enlargement, or drug effects, ensuring early detection of cardiac concerns.

We provide Dental X-Rays as part of our comprehensive dental care to identify hidden issues like tooth root infections or fractures. These diagnostic images guide treatment plans for extractions, cleanings, and other oral health interventions.

Our clinic performs Tooth Extractions when necessary due to severe decay, periodontal disease, or trauma. We use anesthesia and pain management protocols to ensure a safe and comfortable procedure for your pet.

Oral Surgery is performed when necessary for complex dental procedures like extractions of fractured teeth or tumor removals. We use anesthesia and pain management to ensure a safe recovery.

We treat Periodontal Disease with professional cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove tartar and bacteria. Advanced cases may require extractions or antibiotics, but early intervention is key to preventing pain and systemic health issues like heart or kidney disease.

We educate pet owners on At-Home Dental Care, including proper brushing techniques, toothpaste selection (pet-safe only), and dietary recommendations to prevent plaque buildup. Our goal is to extend your pet’s life by 3–5 years through consistent oral health care.

We perform Spay & Neuter Surgery with pre-anesthetic blood testing and comprehensive anesthetic monitoring to ensure safety. Our procedures include intravenous catheterization, blood pressure monitoring, and temperature regulation for optimal patient care during surgery.

Foreign Body Removal is part of our general surgery services. We safely remove ingested or lodged objects using anesthesia and diagnostic imaging to ensure complete recovery.

Wound & Laceration Repair is performed for injuries or post-surgical closures. We clean wounds thoroughly and use advanced techniques to promote healing while minimizing infection risk.

For emergencies, we provide Emergency Stabilization, including IV fluids, oxygen therapy, and immediate diagnostic testing (like x-rays or EKGs) before referring to 24-hour care if needed. Our telemedicine service ($50/session) offers preliminary guidance for urgent concerns.

Hospitalization & 24-Hour Monitoring is available for pets requiring intensive care post-surgery or during illness. Our team provides continuous observation and treatment adjustments to ensure stability.

We administer IV Fluid Therapy during surgeries and medical treatments to maintain hydration and support organ function. This critical care service helps stabilize pets undergoing anesthesia or recovering from illness or injury.

Our clinic prioritizes Pain Management for surgical patients and those with chronic conditions. We use anesthetic protocols, post-operative monitoring, and pain relief medications to ensure your pet’s comfort and recovery.

Poison & Toxin Treatment is provided for pets exposed to harmful substances. We offer emergency stabilization (e.g., IV fluids) and may refer severe cases to 24-hour care or specialists.

We offer Telemedicine Consultations via mobile device or computer for non-emergency concerns. These sessions provide convenient access to veterinary advice at a fixed cost of $50, helping you manage minor issues without an in-person visit.
