Lorain County Dog Kennel

The Lorain County Dog Kennel is the county facility for temporarily housing stray dogs. We are a self-funded entity located in Elyria, OH.

If a dog is adopted from our facility, we offer a free "mandatory" spay or neuter service to help control the pet population. Details will be explained by staff at adoption.

The Lorain County Dog Kennel is committed to providing exceptional service and performance. We are also dedicated to animal welfare and maintaining a safe environment.

Due to an overwhelming number of strays, we are currently unable to accept owner surrenders. Please see Dogs to Adopt for current availability.
