Fort Defiance Humane Society

The Fort Defiance Humane Society (FDHS) is an independent registered 501-c3 nonprofit local animal shelter in Defiance County, OH. We are dedicated to rescuing animals in need.

FDHS provides services to assist pet owners including rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of animals. We work to help those animals that cannot help themselves by focusing our efforts on caring for them and finding them a new home.

FDHS employs the only Humane Agent in the area responding to reports of animal abuse, neglect, and cruelty.
