El Faro de los Animales is a non-profit organization providing shelter medicine, food and love to abandoned dogs and cats in Humacao, PR.
Since its founding, El Faro has run a limited-admission shelter located on the southeastern coast of Puerto Rico. They have rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed over 3000 animals.
El Faro is dedicated to helping reduce the population of homeless animals through low-cost spay & neuter programs and education initiatives.
The organization fosters respect, compassion, and correct treatment of animals, aiming to help them live healthy and happy lives in safe homes.
