Lancaster County Animal Shelter

The Lancaster County Animal Shelter is a separate department dedicated to housing and caring for stray and surrendered animals in Lancaster, SC.

We offer adoption services to the public and animal rescues. All pets are spayed or neutered (**No Exceptions**) before being placed in new homes, along with booster shots, rabies vaccinations, de-worming, and microchipping.

The shelter's goal is to reduce pet overpopulation through comprehensive spay/neuter programs for all animals prior to adoption.
