Equine Rescue of Aiken

Equine Rescue of Aiken is a volunteer-driven not-for-profit organization located in Aiken, SC. We are dedicated to rescuing off-the-track thoroughbreds and horses whose owners can no longer care for them.

We offer unique programs working with those suffering from trauma, adult and youth community service, and at-risk youth. Check out our PROGRAMS section to learn more about our involvement.

Visitors are invited Tuesday-Saturday for tours or picnics – no appointment needed! We welcome you to walk around, feed treats to the horses, and experience why the rescue is a special place where second chances begin.

We've given over 1800 equines a new beginning. Your donation helps us provide feed, vet care, rehabilitation, and support these horses need. Help us continue rewriting stories!
