Animal Friends of Barbour County

Animal Friends of Barbour County is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing shelter and care for companion animals in Belington, WV. We work with owner surrenders and strays.

We provide necessary veterinary care to help pets recover from illness or injury and prepare them for adoption. Our services include caring for an average of 300 dogs and cats daily, including senior pets.

Animal Friends partners with Audubon Animal Clinic in Philippi and Appalachian Animal Hospital in Elkins to offer discounts on spaying and neutering procedures. We are committed to providing a happy and healthy environment for all animals.

Receiving donations from individuals and businesses is our primary source of funding. We have saved the lives of thousands of Barbour County companion animals thanks to generous donors. Find us on Facebook!
